After planning and working on the refurbishment of the Pavilion on the Rec, we were delighted to be able to celebrate the opening of the by Councillor Steffi Sutters with the support of 2 of our local Furzedown Councillors - Graham Loveland and Judi Gasser on 9th October 2019.
A huge achievement after so much hard work: it was fantastic to see the newly refurbished interior, which is already being put to great use by community groups. including a local fitness group and 2 children’s play groups.
